Book Buy-Back
We buy back used textbooks at the conclusion of each semester. Dates and times are posted around campus a few weeks before each buy back is held.
Payment Methods
The Wilmington Campus Bookstore currently accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept financial aid. We cannot accept debit cards that do not have a credit card logo on them. We also cannot accept starter checks. All checks must have the name and address pre-printed on them. Student ID and ID number is required for purchases by check. All check processing and fees are handled by Telecheck.
Financial Aid
Financial Aid slips and other agency vouchers are available for use approximately one week before the first day of classes for each semester. They are typically available for use for the first three weeks of classes. A schedule is posted at the bookstore a few weeks prior to classes commencing.
Purchasing Textbooks
Students coming to the bookstore to purchase textbooks must bring a validated copy of their schedule in order to insure the correct books are disbursed. We will be happy to ship books to your home for $5.95. Only ground shipping is available. We will verify your schedule prior to shipping books. Financial Aid students must purchase their books in person as your signature is required. A booklist is posted on our bulletin boards in the hall outside the store a few weeks before classed start. Please watch this spot for a link to a .pdf version of our book list coming soon, starting with the summer 2008-53 semester.
Distance Learning Students
Plan ahead! Course materials for distance learning courses must be purchased from the campus bookstore from where the class originates. Materials from another campus bookstore must be ordered in advance and shipped to your home bookstore, and arrangements must be made for pick-up or delivery. Don’t wait, or you may not have the materials required for your class. Be sure to refer to your Delaware Tech Course Schedule booklet in order to determine if you need to order distance learning materials ahead of time.
Quik Tip: look at your class schedule. You will see a column listing your section number for each class. The first digit of the section number designates the host campus for the class. Section numbers beginning with a:
2 - Owens Campus in Georgetown
4 - Wilmington Campus
5 - Stanton Campus
6 - Terry Campus in Dover
We will be happy to order Distance Learning course materials for you from either the Owens or Terry Campus Bookstores. Materials for classes hosted by either the Stanton or Wilmington campus must be purchased at those locations. To order materials, contact your home campus store to fill out a request form.
